In SUP Foil, the boards are intentionally larger than those of wing. This additional surface provides stability, comfort while paddling, and makes it easier to take off, even with very little energy. It allows for easier wave or bump capture and optimizes the key moment of take-off.
This choice is not a compromise, but an advantage. Once in flight, the size of the board fades away to allow for a smooth and silent glide. More control at take-off, more freedom once in the air: this is the essence of SUP Foil.
