Master the art of no wind

Just two years ago, when we took our pumps out on the lake, people looked at us as if we were from another planet. On the docks of Annecy and Le Bourget, we looked like aliens dodging above the water... no community, no tutorials, no "Pumping" section on the websites of major brands, no blog, no guide, in short, nothing.

Those who wanted to start struggled. You would buy a first "approximate" foil, realize after three sessions that it wasn't suitable, and you had to change everything. We learned on our own. We experimented. We progressed together, often without really knowing where we were going. Then, something changed.

In a very short time, everything accelerated. Today, as soon as you pass any pontoon, at any time of day or night, there's always someone in the water. Pumping has become a common language. A shared passion. Groups have formed, communities have grown, and exchanges are multiplying: advice, impromptu sessions, feedback, precise adjustments, videos, challenges, and above all, a mindset. An energy. A real local scene has been born.

And we are proud to say that we are part of it – and even that we have become actors in it. Because on the docks of Annecy and Bourget, a lot of riders are now using local equipment. Gear designed here, tested here, validated here. People send us their progress, their rides, their records… and that is what motivates us the most. We also launched Pump Sessions: moments where everyone can come to try, learn, progress, and challenge themselves. Beginners, experienced, passionate, curious… everyone is welcome. It’s this atmosphere, this closeness, this culture of sharing that makes the strength of the pumping scene here.

We're still here. On the docks, on the lakes, in the workshops, at the spots. Developing, testing, riding, and sharing. Pushing the movement even further. Welcome to the story of local pumping. And it's only just beginning.
